Teaching in Fort Mill has been a blessing for me since 1998. I grew up in Indiana and graduated from Purdue University. My teaching career began in California where I taught 2nd and 3rd grades. I then taught in the Title I Reading program in North Carolina before moving to Fort Mill and earning my Gifted and Talented Teaching Endorsement. I earned National Board Certification as a Middle Childhood Generalist in November of 2004. I earned a Master of Education - Technology in Education degree in 2008.
I have two grown daughters and a son-in-law. They are my joy!
Growing up, I enjoyed camping, hiking, and fishing in Indiana and in The Great Smoky Mountains National Park. I fondly remember playing flute in my high school's marching and concert bands. I enjoy teaching, reading, hiking, and going to movies, plays, and concerts.
I hope you enjoyed getting to know a little bit about me and I certainly look forward to getting to know you this year!
